Haul: First On My Blog/ Shopping Experience

So, I went shopping with a close friend last Friday. It was a much needed time to catch up with my best friend and to get out of the house. I didn't buy much, but the things I did buy were things that I really wanted to try and also a couple things that I needed. So first off, we went to Target. I wanted to look for the new Tresemme Split End Repair line (the line is called Split Remedy). Target had the Shampoo, Conditioner, and the Sealing Serum. Target was also having a promotion where if you bought 3 Tresemme hair care items, you got a $5 Target Gift Card. Each item was $4.79. I bought the other two parts of this line at Walmart, Leave-in Conditioning Spray and Leave-in Conditioning Treatment, both for around 4 dollars. And I also got the mints that my boyfriend likes me to keep in my purse, and some Hairspray so I don't have to keep stealing my mom's. The Split Remedy line says it will reduce split ends up to 80% after three washes/uses. So, I will make a review video once I have used it 3 times.

While we were out, I was also on the hunt for a pair of nude pumps. I have very tiny feet (size 5 in women's shoes, 5.5 or 6 if I'm wearing boots). So we went to Payless. I don't know if this is just what the Payless in my area is like or if it's this way in every Payless. But, if you have the same size foot as me, you know that the selection IN the store is very small, probably about 20 shoes to choose from. There were plenty of different styles of nude pumps in every other size, but not in my size. So we moved on to the next store (JCPenny). We went there mainly so she could try on a style of dress that she wanted to get for the many weddings she has to go to this summer (and let me just say that it looked fantastic on her), but also to see if there were any nude pumps. There were plenty, again, but not in my price range at the time, so I didn't even bother to see if they had my size (I can do that online while they're having a sale).

*Pause while I close the blinds. The sun is in my eyes.*

The next store we ventured to was Marshals. I absolutely LOVE that store. But, again. The shoe selection is quite horrible for someone with tiny feet. I found plenty of adorable nude pumps that I would like, but none of them came in my size. As, I was about to give up, my best friend saw these high heel booties that were on the clearance shelf. They were in a 5.5 (my ideal size for high heel boots), so I tried them on. OH MY GOSH!!! They were so comfortable AND $16 (this is why I love Marshals!). I bought them. How could I not? They weren't my nude pumps, but I have also kind of been looking for boots like this in a nonchalant way. And I was so excited to have found SOMETHING for my feet (I'm a shoe junkie). Here's a picture:

Aren't they amazing?! I so love these. I'll most like do an outfit of the day post that will shoe case the shoes soon, so you can see how I like to style them.

So, that was my shopping experience. Not all great, but not horrible at all! I hope you enjoyed this post! And I'm hoping to keep up with the posts, so hopefully it won't be very long until the next one. So, Until next time!
